Youth Advisor - Day/Swing Shift (PT)

Quick Apply Part-time 13 hours ago Full Job Description This position provides direct, individualized, supportive care to youth who utilize the Crisis Residential Program and Community Service Center.
Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of client goal plans.
Participate in team case management, case review, transition, and team meetings.
Supervise all youth activities.
Motivate youth.
Ensure a safe, healthy environment that reflects Covenant House principles.
Escort youth to external activities.
Facilitate and monitor group support services including meals, activities, and sessions.
Document information regarding all client interactions, caseload progress, and outside agency contact.
Complete all status and grant-related documentation including census, intake, discharge, youth profiles, and assessments.
Ensure allocation and documentation of petty cash, youth savings, and resources.
Applicant must be available to work the following schedule:
Monday 7:
30 AM - 3:
30 PM, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 2:
30 PM - 10:
30 PM; Days Off Saturday, Sunday & Wednesday.
Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19.
Experience and Skills:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a human service or related field preferred.
Excellent communication and crisis management skills and the ability to handle physically challenging situations.
Excellent assessment and judgment capabilities.
Valid driver's license with an insurable record.
Willing to travel between Covenant House sites.
