Responsibilities:
Create and publish associate schedules in ADP scheduling system.
Verify and if necessary, utilize appropriate methods to edit associate in and out punches as well as lunch punches in ADP.
Track and maintain associate attendance information including logging associate tardiness and absenteeism.
Create and communicate various daily reports pertaining to staffing levels, associate attendance, budgeting, etc.
Attend meetings and take appropriate notes to share with Leadership.
Maintain inventory of associate uniforms and provide uniforms to new associates as well as replacement uniforms to existing associates when necessary.
Be a liaison to the Human Resources department for various matters including, but not limited to new hire onboarding process, organizational process changes, associate offboarding process, payroll deductions, etc.
Assist with creation and implementation of department-wide incentive programs and recognition events.
Requirements:
Description The Waterpark Administrative Assistant plays an important role in organizing, managing, and keeping the waterpark running.
The Administrative Assistants is responsible for clerical and organizational tasks such as associate scheduling, timecard verification, scheduling appointments, assisting other associates, and drafting correspondences or messages.
The Administrative Assistant utilizes computers extensively to work with spreadsheets, create presentations and reports, and manage databases.
Basic Qualifications Willingness to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or Holidays as needed.
Previous experience in similar administrative role.
Ability to complete tasks simultaneously.
Leadership, problem solving, organization and communication skills required.
Able to work well with others required.
Strong customer service skills (verbal and written) preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications Working knowledge of the ADP system.
Previous experience working in large departments in excess of 200 associates.
Knowledge of appropriate software including:
Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat.
Data entry experience Physical Requirements Flexible and long hours sometimes required including weekends and holidays.
Time spent may be dictated by the number of clients or groups on property or by the time of the season Ability to move frequently throughout the large facility Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to work in environmental conditions that include, but are not limited to:
Wet and humid environments, indoor tropical environmental conditions with up to 90% humidity and warm temperatures in excess of 70F, as well as outdoor environmental conditions Mental Requirements Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately Must be able to show initiative in job performance including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the issues raised by Associates, Supervisors, Department Heads, Senior Management and guests Must be able to adapt to a broad range of customer interactions, inquiries and complaints Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions and statistical analysis Ability to be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgement Make independent decisions while maintaining strong ethical standards consistent with company policy, rules and the ability to maintain confidential information Quick Apply.
