The role entails a blend of new business development, new market expansion, servicing existing accounts as well as the daily activities associated with local market strategic selling in a territory.
You will be responsible for all aspects of the sales cycle, qualification of opportunities, development of a market strategy, negotiation and closing of new business.

This position reports to the Director of Sales.
Primary responsibilities Sells company's products by visiting or calling on prospective and established customers.
Takes orders and provides necessary follow-up to the customers.
Maintains sales programs within assigned territory by keeping customers informed about available products and prices.
Determines priority and effort given to each account based on sales potential.
Responds to customer's inquiries or complaints regarding company's products and service.
Responsible for collecting payments from customers.
Keeps records and prepares reports on sales activities.
Monitors competitive activity and trends within the territory.
Keeps developing new customers Performs other duties as assigned and/or necessary.
Requirements Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet and e-mail.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
College degree or equivalent preferred but not required Food sales experience not required we will train the right person.
