Fire Systems Tech - NICET Certified - Work in Antarctica

PAE is currently seeking a Fire Systems Tech to support the Antarctic Support Contract and the National Science Foundation's United States Antarctic Program. We have positions for Winfly (August/September), Mainbody (October-February), and Winter (March-September). Winfly positions are made in conjunction with Mainbody seasons. In addition to meeting the job requirements, you need to also meet the physical and travel requirements.

Responsibilities:
PAE is currently seeking a Fire Systems Technician to support an exciting new
mission in support of the National Science Foundation's Antarctic
Operations.
The Fire Systems Technician:
Is responsible for maintenance of fire alarm signaling and fire suppression systems.
Accomplishes hands-on fire system/electrical tasks on maintenance and
construction projects in Antarctica.
Completes periodic maintenance on fire systems equipment in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program, NFPA and manufacturer's guidelines as well as coordinates testing, maintenance, and repair activities.
May be required to work outside on various job sites in
extreme cold weather conditions.
Qualifications:
Current NICET II Fire Alarm certification (minimum) is required for Technician.
Minimum four years of documented experience installing, testing, inspecting, and maintenance of fire protection systems, including fire alarm systems, suppression systems, and fire sprinkler systems is required for Technician.
Experience including rough wiring, device/appliance termination, and head end termination is required.
Ability to read design drawings and wiring diagrams is required.
High School diploma or equivalent is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
