Lead Sound Technician

Job Duties:
A working technician and audio engineer, responsible for all main stage and special events audio including operation of mixing console for showroom and coordination of stage monitor system.
Thoroughly familiar with state of the art technology in all phases of audio, including mixing, signal processing, wiring, microphones, speakers, acoustics, recording and testing.
Acting audio consultant for all hotel sound systems.
Leads sound crew, schedules and documents work calls, assists and oversees set-ups for rehearsals, sound checks and performances.
Specifies material purchasing and maintains inventory control.
Coordinates all performance related crew schedules with the stage manager.
Must be able to perform job duties satisfactorily with a minimal amount of supervision.
Will work any technician position as required.
Provides Family Style Service at all times.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in audio engineering preferred or 4 years documented employment as audio engineer.
Basic computer technology and programming.
Ability to perceive pitch/tone.
Six (6) years documented as follows:
3 years design and installation of commercial sound systems; 3 years in performance and or studio related audio, including set mixing, recording, and crew supervision.
Skilled at drafting schematics.
Thoroughly adept at bench work and installations.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must have ability to perform duties and lead staff with minimal supervision.
Required to perform the customer service standards of the department.
Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act and Attendant Regulations, as well as company internal controls, policies, and procedures.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
